Author Guidelines

Please carefully review the submission guidelines below:

  1. General Requirements
  2. Language: Manuscripts must be written in English.
  3. Length: Submissions should be a minimum of 3 pages and a maximum of 15 pages. Manuscripts exceeding 10 pages will be evaluated by editors.
  4. Citation Style: Use Mendeley and APA style.
  5. Template: Ensure your manuscript follows the Journal gema kadaster template.
  6. Similarity Check: The maximum similarity rate is 30% using Turnitin. Submit the similarity report immediately upon acceptance.
  7. Suggested Reviewers: Authors may suggest up to 3 high-quality reviewers from outside their institution to expedite the review process (optional).
  8. Manuscript Structure
  9. Title: Should be up to 15 words, with no acronyms or abbreviations.
  10. Abstract: Must be 150-200 words; no citations. Clearly state the main objective, research design, methodology, key outcomes, and conclusions.
  11. Structure: Organize your manuscript as follows: Introduction - Methods - Results and Analysis - Conclusion.
  12. References: Include at least 25 references, with at least 80% being reputable journal articles from the past 5 years.

In Indonesian:

  1. Template: Ensure the manuscript matches the latest template.
  2. Structure: Include separate sections: Introduction, Literature Review, Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion. Avoid bullet/numbering.
  3. Length: Manuscript length should be between 4-10 pages.

Title and Author Information

  1. Title: Brief and descriptive, up to 16 words. Avoid abbreviations or acronyms unless standard.
  2. Authors: List all authors in both the manuscript and the OJS system. Designate one as the corresponding author. Include emails for all authors and provide affiliation in one line, including institution and country.
  3. Format: Title in lowercase, except the first letter. Do not include research location or date in the title.

Abstract and Keywords

  1. Abstract: 150-200 words, structured into Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
  2. Keywords: 3-5 keywords, separated by semicolons, listed alphabetically and not excerpts from the title.

Introduction

  1. Context: Explain the research context, focus, and importance. Address research gaps and unique differences from prior studies. Clearly state the research objectives and contributions.
  2. Literature Review: Review and discuss at least 3 recent studies from the past 5 years. Length should be 300-700 words.

Methods

  1. Methods: Describe how data is collected, processed, and analyzed. Outline procedures chronologically and clearly. Detail how results will be measured, tested, and evaluated.

Results and Discussion

  1. Results: Present findings logically, aligned with the research methods. Use narrative, tables, or figures. Avoid raw data; provide clear descriptions and explanations for all tables and figures.
  2. Discussion: Analyze results deeply, compare with other studies, and state study limitations or threats to validity.

Conclusion

  1. Conclusion: Summarize key findings, contributions, implications, limitations, and future research suggestions. The conclusion should be in a single paragraph.

References

  1. Citation Tools: Use Mendeley for managing references. Check citation metadata for accuracy. Follow APA style.
  2. Reference Count: At least 25 references, with at least 80% from reputable international journal articles or conferences within the last 5 years. Over 80% should come from credible sources like ScienceDirect, IEEE Explorer, ACM Digital Library, Springer Link, Scopus, Clarivate Analytics, and accredited Indonesian journals (SINTA 1/2).

Tables and Figures

  1. Format: Use the correct format for tables and figures in the template. Ensure high clarity for images and graphics. No copyright issues. All figures and tables must be referenced in the text. Maximum of 10 each. Provide justification if more are needed.

Language

  1. Language: No spelling, typographical, or grammatical errors. Use tools like Grammarly or MS Word recommendations for language checks.
  2. Writing Style: Use clear, concise sentences. Avoid lengthy sentences that confuse readers.

Submission Checklist

  1. Original Work: Confirm that the manuscript is your own work.
  2. Plagiarism: Ensure the manuscript is free from plagiarism.
  3. Conflict of Interest: Declare no conflicts of interest.
  4. Publication Status: The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under review elsewhere.
  5. Format: Manuscript should be 3,500-6,000 words, not exceeding 15 A4 pages including figures and tables, with no appendices.
  6. File: Submit in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
  7. Title and Abstract: Title should be concise, under 15 words. Abstract should be 150-200 words in English. Keywords should be 3-5 phrases in English.
  8. Style and Bibliography: Adhere to the style and bibliography guidelines outlined in the Author Guidelines.
